Your new role…

We are offering a 12-month student placement within Service Operations. Working with key management information from across a range of applications, you will be continually encouraged to analyse data, identify trends and correlations, and prepare reports, graphs and materials for management to enable improvements across the business to help us get maximum value. In a fast-paced business, you will develop your skill set and business knowledge to maintain exceptional quality and delivery.

Main Duties

  • Assisting with all aspects of business analysis and management information reporting
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of appropriate management information systems and reporting tools
  • Responsible for analysing data, identifying trends and correlations
  • Preparing robust, detailed accurate reports and commentary for management review
  • Investigating root causes of potential errors and helping to implement effective solutions
  • Analysing existing business processes and systems, recommending and implementing continuous improvements
  • Arranging charity and team building events for the Antrim site
  • Liaise with Management Team to develop better reporting mechanisms and contribute to process improvement activity where appropriate
  • Assist with the management of staff incentive pilots, via the collection of relevant statistics and reporting of these results to staff

What will you get?

An attractive benefits package with the opportunity to earn a bonus of up to £500 at the end of your placement. This role will be based in our offices in Antrim which offers free coffee/tea and kitchen facilities, along with soft rooms for informal meetings and a recreational area for break times.

The successful candidate will be enrolled into the Company Pension Scheme with an employer contribution of up to 6% and will also avail of 20 days holiday per year plus 11 statutory days. PERSON SPECIFICATION

          Knowledge and Experience

Essential Criteria

  • Applicants must be studying for an honours degree in a relevant discipline, but preferably with a mathematical/statistical element and have completed year 2 by June 2020.
  • Module results to date must have a combined average in excess of 60%, up to and including 2019 Semester results*
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Excellent working knowledge of reporting tools and MS Excel

*The module results combined average may be increased if we have a high level of interest.
