Your new role...

The successful candidate will be a motivated and conscientious individual who enjoys managing a varied workload and is interested in working within a multi-disciplined team to support the financial and commercial growth of the businiss.

Main Duties:

  • Assist with month end processes, including model roll forward, analysis and reconciliations
  • Prepare and post monthly prepayments, accruals and reallocations
  • Assist with monthly reporting including board reports
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the management of selected Third-Party contracts, including facilitating regular review meetings, monitoring KPIs ownership of the associated OPEX reporting
  • Play a key role in the procure to pay process, including:
    • GR/IR management
    • Aged Creditor reconciliation and management
    • Purchase Order management
    • Purchase Order approval matrix and Bank Mandate management
    • Payment practices reporting
    • Exceptions management
  • Provide support to the team during the monthly Forecasting and Business Planning process, to include data input, accuracy checks and analysis
  • Help to facilitate internal, external and compliance audits
  • Provide support in all areas of governance including completion of regulatory returns to ensure compliance with legislation, Supply licence and tax obligations
  • Assist with completion of quarterly analysis for Group finance and ad hoc duties;

Essential Criteria:

  • Five GCSE’s (grades A* - C) to include Maths and English or equivalent
  • At least 1 year’s expertise in a similar role
  • AP experience (Procure to Pay Process)
  • Experience in the month end process, including journal posting/calculations

  • Experience dealing with 3rd party contracts and managing relations
