First Blades Delivered at Crossmore Wind Farm
The transportation of the 57-metre-long blades is being undertaken overnight, travelling from the Port of Galway along the national and regional road network to Crossmore Wind Farm, near Lissycasey in County Clare. The wind farm will be capable of producing enough renewable electricity to power around 14,500 homes
Opening Drumlins Park Wind Farm
We are delighted to announce the start of commercial operation for our 16th wind farm, Drumlins Park. The new 49 MW wind farm is located near Newbliss in Co Monaghan and consists of eight wind turbines supplied by GE Renewable Energy. Energia Group signed a corporate power purchase agreement with Microsoft for the project.
Energia Extends Partnership With the IRFU Until 2029
The continued partnership will see Energia launch new initiatives aimed at growing club rugby nationally alongside their continued support for both the Men’s and Women’s Senior Teams.
