Our Strategy
We are a leading, modern, integrated energy utility with substantial businesses in both Ireland and Northern Ireland. We primarily operate through three business units: Renewables Flexible Generation and Customer Solutions.
Integrated Business Model
Our earnings are derived from a combination of regulated and contracted revenue streams together with an integrated energy margin optimised across our business segments.
The proportion of regulated and contracted earnings has been increasing in recent years notably through ongoing investment in the Renewables and Flexible Generation businesses.
The robustness of the delivery of our integrated energy margin is driven by the natural hedge between the generation and supply activities and the optimisation of the energy value chain across our Renewables, Flexible Generation and Customer Solutions businesses.

The global drive to decarbonise existing energy demand through electrification together with new economic growth, particularly in the technology sector, is set to accelerate an increase in electricity demand from renewables and underpin a sustainable and thriving economy.
